When testing with the Brocade ICX 6450 I found that I needed to create static multicast group entries, or manually set multicast to version 3, in order to allow vSAN multicast traffic to work correctly. This behavior was not observed when working with Brocade VDX 6740, HP v1910, or various NetGear switches.
